About
We would like to respectfully acknowledge the Kombumerri people of the wider Yugambeh language region as the Traditional Owners. We acknowledge their Elders, past & present and the ongoing connection to the land on which we gather each week.
We want to share our deep gratitude to Jan and Peter Flemming, whose dedicated commitment and care for this land and the Currumbin Valley has deep and established roots. We feel the importance of carrying on the custodianship of Currumbin Valley Harvest from them, allowing this natural beauty to be shared with all.
Currumbin Valley Harvest is the second undertaking for Elisha and Hugh. Alongside True Nature Yoga , the businesses have a foundation of a pure yoga lineage that inspires business direction and our yoga community that work across the businesses.
Established in September 2020, having worked in corporate retail management with a focus on people, recruitment and training, it was time for Elisha to walk barefoot in the valley. Having been a customer and neighbour of Harvest, Elisha felt called to carry on its role as the town well and peaceful healing space.
From this point many wonderful things have opened out: fully transitioning our weekly produce offerings to organic (big love to our growers and suppliers); our intentionally selected bulk foods; Mio!!! (need we say anymore?!❤︎); collaboration with many special local businesses including Tribal Moon Cacao, Eat to Live, Magic Potion Kombucha, Seeds of Life, MicroGreenies, Natures Farmer Sea and Bee Luminaries to name a few. Also, the hundreds of hours spent composting, growing, weeding, cultivating medicinal cottage beds that contribute greatly to our ecosystem and our customers experience.
One of the richest gems has been our regular customers.
They bring the love and life each week. They hang out, relax, share time with other regulars, kids play, fires are lit, and garden teas are drunk.
The combined synergy of energies draws more legendary people and more legendary staff.
We feel very blessed. We love showing up each week. We love growing and expanding in new ways. We hustle and bustle (but not too much!). Then at the end of each day, the sprinklers come on, the bush turkey and birds help clean up, the creek flows and we return to silence and peace until we do it all again the next day.
Hope you can join us
